email da host!!

Oiii meniiinas e meninos (se é q algum lê)!!

Tudu certo?!?! Então... vcs lembram q eu tava numa meega agonia esperando o email da host com as respostas das perguntas q eu tinha feito... mas desde terça ela não respondia.. e ela sempre respondia rápido.. aew, (eu nem so neurótica :p ) mandei um email hj demanhã perguntando se ela tinha recebido meu ultimo email com as perguntas... e ela respondeu em menos de 5 min isso:

Yes I have received your email --- It has been a very busy week with work as I'm trying to take M/T/W off next week - which means everything needs to be in order and finalize prior to me being off. Good news is - when I'm off I do not check my work emails and phone...
Girls are getting ready for school - and there are teacher meetings and school communality activities we participate with. Lots of their friends are away at summer homes for the summer - and they are all returning - so there is lots of catching up to do. And I had NO nanny this week - very tough for both me and girls. But I did still get in my a.m. runs and two nights of yoga :)

I will answer your wonderful questions this afternoon - all are great questions and I know you will be happy with the responses. I think most importantly that makes us different from other potential host families is 1) JOÃO and I both have lots of respect for girls your age that become aupairs - it takes special personalities and drive to leave your home country and embark on such an adventure and 2) we realize while taking care of our children is your primary responsibility there are other important reasons to come to USA for you - travel, friends etc. And we support all these activities - we will be flexible with your schedule expecially for traveling --- long weekends will be a MUST --- you need to explore and take advantage of your opportunities here.

Last night we traveled 3 hours to visit JOÃO at his house and we are staying here through Tuesday of next week.
I'll answer your specific questions tonight --- most importantly know - JOÃO and I believe you are certainly worth waiting for - we will fill in gaps through April with nannies. Also know that once I let aupair agency know we want you - we give them a significant amount of $ to reaffirm our commitment to wanting/holding you. So we certainly won't change our mind.
